Neha is a corporate lawyer with eighteen years of experience advising corporates, multinationals, and private equity and venture capital investors on M&A, investments, cross-border transactions, and acquisitions in special situations including IBC resolution processes and regulatory-driven divestments. Her practice focuses on technology-driven businesses, including digital platforms, data-intensive companies, and emerging technology ventures, where data, technology, and intellectual property are central to business value and growth.
Neha began her career as a tax counsel at Nishith Desai Associates, an experience that gave her a strong foundation in deal architecture and cross-border investment structuring. Leveraging her understanding of transaction tax and its pivotal role in M&A, she transitioned into being a transaction counsel.
As IP-driven and data-intensive transactions became increasingly central to the Indian M&A market, Neha invested in developing her expertise in privacy and data regulation alongside her transactional practice. She is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). As a global privacy and data regulation practitioner, Neha regularly advises businesses on data governance and cybersecurity compliance and incident response. This domain knowledge also informs her work on data and IP driven transactions.
Prior to joining SK & Partners, Neha founded Corporate Law & Policy Advisors, a boutique practice focused on corporate transactions, investments, and technology law.
